The succesful tactic was with 4 AA guns, 4 Stug, a Sniper (for scouting, could have been scouting squad), then filled with infantry and tanks. Crushed again, though this time my 4 AA units died killing all but 1 of the IL-2 attackers. Mission failed, then I tried to go with a combined offensive: west, center, east. In both I tried to rush with everyone in the west. I am sharing how it went.įirstly I was crushed 2 times. Years later, with greater maturity and understand of military tactics, I could win the first german mission (on Regular) with very few losses.
I could never play or understand one of its games without being crushed by the enemy.
I was always amazed by the alleged realism in the TOW series.
